Dear AIBP Members and Friends:

The Alabama India Business Partnerships (AIBP) is a private-sector, non-profit membership organization, incorporated in 2005, in state of Alabama. The purpose of this organization is to bring American Professionals, Entrepreneurs, and Business owners closer to their counterparts in India to exchange ideas, communicate, interact, network, and share similar experiences to build mutually beneficial business partnerships.

In the new global economy, the South East Asian region (specifically Indian region) is emerging as a significant place of economic activity, making compelling business sense to leverage opportunities arising there. Asian Indian American Community living in Alabama due to their ethnic origin or through their business association is in a position to capitalize on these opportunities. Thus we, at AIBP, have a unique opportunity to play a part in shaping the global economy.

I commend AIBP board for the vision, energy, and commitment to initiate this organization timely. I am thankful to AIBP board for having a faith in me and for giving me an opportunity to serve as the first President. It is an honor for me to work with some of the most distinguished state and corporate officials, professors, scientists, engineers, medical professionals, entrepreneurs, business men, intellectuals, students, and Alabama citizens. As directed by board, I will promote and work “to provide a platform to foster partnerships for profitable expansions of businesses between Alabama and India”, to the best of my abilities.
